Elder Rogers Arrived to Chile!

So I'm allowed to let you know that I got here safe. I lost my luggage and they finally found it. I had a 2 hour flight to Antofagasta and I was around there till 11 and then a 12 hour bus ride to my first city called Arica AKA "Eternal Spring!" Our sector is called Pukarani. You guys are so blessed in the US, here is the richest place and its not rich at all! It wasnt really weird for me but it will take some getting used to. But I arrived safely and I love you all!

Elder Rogers is on his way to this beautiful country. He left Salt Lake City at 2pm today and will arrive in Santiago, Chile in the morning. He will then hop on a bus for a 24 hour ride to Antofagasta. Yes! 24 hours! Lets pray that the bus at least has air conditioning! 

 

Entering The MTC

Our youngest, sweet and shy brother entered the MTC today. He will be serving in Chile in the Antofagasta Mission. We will miss him so much for the next two years but we know that he will be serving the Lord. We know he will touch the hearts of many people and hopefully baptize some of them. We love him so much.

Because Elder Rogers knows the Spanish language he will only be at the MTC for 2 weeks. He will be in an accelerated program and will be leaving on April 9th to Chile.
